Change is something we try to avoid without good reason, as we know change costs time.
We have some significant new features coming out, but also want to take this opportunity to correct an an issue that causes some confusion.
System IDs currently have a location and access description as shown below.
This has never really made sense with our definition of a system ID. Below is a system with the ID 201. It incorporates two cold water tanks, a booster set, the distribution system, and the connected outlets (as below). What then is the location? Over the years, we have added the location of the key items of the plant, but that is repeated for each survey completed. For this reason, we are phasing out the location and access fields.
The location and access fields have been removed from L8MS RAS Mobile and will be marked as optional in the web application.
We will keep the fields live for older assessments.
